From our humble beginnings as a family-run sales brokerage, to a retail powerhouse supporting leading brands across all product categories and channels, Acosta has reshaped the retail industry since day one.

1927

L.T. Acosta opens L.T. Acosta Company, a family-run food broker in Jacksonville, FL.

1977

Acosta establishes itself as a regional retail sales agency in Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

1999

Acosta gains national presence through the merging of four major companies and secures national representation for Minute Maid.

2002

Acosta acquires TLS to establish a presence in Canada.

2014

Acosta acquires ADW, the premier retail sales agency serving Costco Wholesale.

2015

Acosta Canada expands into natural and fresh foods and enters the pet channel.

2021

Acosta acquires Impact Group, creating the largest natural and urban sales team in the industry; creates specialized digital commerce center of excellence.

2023

Acosta Group launches as the enterprise brand for our collective of agencies, including Acosta; Acosta launches a Hispanic-focused division.
